Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Link (CSAP Link)
CSAP Link serves a diverse group of academic, research, education, public health, public policy, advocacy, treatment, and medical professionals whose work involves or relates to child sexual abuse and its prevention. CSAP Link allows professionals to share news, information, research, articles, ideas, thoughts, and other professional material. Together, we are creating a network to exchange information and a forum to discuss and develop ideas and new strategies to effectively prevent this epidemic and heartbreaking form of abuse.
As an email group dedicated to child sexual abuse prevention, CSAP Link is an email group (listserv) that addresses one type of violence, as opposed to Prevent-Connect that address violence against women and connected issues. Like Prevent-Connect, it is a moderated listserv so there will not be “out of the office” notices, redundant messages and off-topic messages.
If your work or interests include child sexual abuse prevention, please join CSAP Link as well informing other professionals who might be interested.
CSAP Link was started by the Child Molestation Research & Prevention Institute in May 2007 and is co-managed by CMRPI and Prevention Connection, a project of the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA). CALCASA’s participation is supported with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The views and information provided on CSAP Link do not necessarily represent the official views of the U.S. government, CDC, CALCASA or CMRPI.
