National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day: A special White House event

National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is a nationwide observance that encourages people to take action in the fight against HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of its impact on women and girls coordinated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health (OWH). On Wednesday, March 14, from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM Eastern Time, the White House will host a special event that will highlight linkages between gender-based violence and HIV/AIDS. You can follow the conversation from @PEPFAR and @AIDSgov on Twitter – just use the hashtag #NWGHAAD. You can also check it out on www.whitehouse.gov/live.
