As PreventConnect’s staff watches events related to Hurricane Sandy unfold from our offices in California, our thoughts and hopes turn towards the welfare of our friends and family on the East Coast, and to all of the communities affected by this powerful event. We are also reminded of the National Sexual Violence Resource Center‘s excellent work on preventing sexual violence in the aftermath of such disasters, available on their website at www.nsvrc.org/projects/disasters.
