RPE Leadership Training Workshop Thinking Outside the Box: Injury Free Academies as Vehicles for Violence Prevention

In this workshop presented at the 2016 RPE Leadership Training, Glorina Stallworth of North Carolina’s Rape Prevention and Education program provides insights about North Carolina’s Injury Free academies, an innovative team-based action learning approach accompanied by multi-disciplinary collaboration aimed to prevent sexual violence in our communities and collectively address other public health concerns. This session further underlines the critical role of partnerships, collaborations and team coordination to prevent sexual violence and address other injury prevention initiatives.
