Web Conference Written Profiles Exploring Community-Level Prevention Approaches

Strategies and approaches to prevent sexual and domestic violence at the community-level have the potential to achieve population-level impacts and address multiple forms of violence at once.

Three individuals are sitting down on blue chairs in a conference room. A female presenting individual stands in front of the room speaking.

Recently, PreventConnect and Prevention Institute explored two community-level approaches to preventing violence: addressing community level risks through environmental approaches and strengthening economic supports for women and families.

To accompany these web conferences, we have released written profiles to showcase the work our guests are doing to prevent sexual and domestic violence in their communities. Each profile provides an opportunity for additional learning from our web conference guests and access to key resources that they have identified to deepen prevention practice.
