The panel, #WhatsAtStake: Sexual Violence as a Public Health Crisis, addresses the need to move beyond awareness towards solutions to address systemic inequities that fuel sexual violence, featuring experts from the public health, education and advocacy fields.

Other panelists include: Jaclyn Friedman from EducateUS, and Angelica Geter, DrPH, MPH from Black Women’s Health Imperative.

The panel is open to the public.

#WhatsAtStake: Sexual Violence as a Public Health Crisis is part of MeToo’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month Campaign and Resources, re-amplifying their declaration that sexual violence is a public health crisis and exploring what that means. In addition to the panel, MeToo is putting out toolkits, social media graphics and resources to bring people along in addressing sexual violence through a public health lens, as stated in their ‘me too.’ Social and Political Framework
