(9 min) This interview with Brad Perry, MA, was recorded at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control Rape Prevention and Education Grantees Meeting on August 12, 2008, in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Perry is the Sexual Violence Prevention Coordinator for the Virginia Sexual & Domestic Violence Action Alliance (VSDVAA).

In this interview, Mr. Perry talks about the promotion of healthy sexuality and healthy behaviors, gives examples of implementation, and discusses why health promotion is an important concept for violence against women prevention in general. Mr. Perry discussed the October 2008 conference Building Healthy Futures II: Strategies for Effective Primary Prevention of Sexual Violence & Intimate Partner Violence.
