Online course about principles of prevention

On the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Veto Violence web site, they have created several online eLearning courses about basic public health prevention concepts such as the social ecological model and primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. These online courses, called Principles of Prevention, will be very helpful as part of the basic training to introduce people to prevention concepts.

In the podcast below, I interview Jennifer Middlebrooks, Acting Team Lead of the Health Communication and Education Team of the Division of Violence Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. CDC’s newly released free online course features interviews with leading experts in the field, dynamic graphics, interactive exercises and compelling storytelling that makes the case for violence prevention.
