Start prevention efforts early to stop stalking: January is National Stalking Awareness Month

One in six women and 1 in 19 men have experienced stalking in their lifetimes (according to the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey). Many people experience stalking related to intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

The National Stalking Resource Center provides resources and the CDC recommends teaching adolescents healthy relationship skills.
