PreventConnect.org

California Partnership to End Domestic ViolenceIn March of 2010, the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV) held a Legislative Action Day, “Standing Together for Safety” in Sacramento, California, to unite the voices of California’s domestic violence agencies and call for the preservation of domestic violence funding in the state.

This is a recording of a panel presentation on advancing teen dating violence (TDV) prevention in California through state and local policy change. The objectives of the panel were to: 1) convene a network of local and state organizations interested in advancing TDV prevention in California through state and local policy change; and
2) share information about the national and state context for addressing TDV and emerging opportunities for TDV prevention through state and local policy change.

Panelists included: Eric Anderson, Break the Cycle; Nancy Bagnato, California Department of Public Health; Tatiana Colón, Family Violence Law Center; Mikel Crumble, Peace Over Violence; Debbie Lee, Family Violence Prevention Fund; and Abby Sims, Peace Over Violence.
