The chapter — "Addressing Cultural Issues in Prevention Programming and Research" — addresses many issues relevant to sexual violence prevention programming and research focused on cultural communities. Reading Club session: Thursday, April 28th, 2011 This ninety-minute (90 min) session will start at 11 AM Pacific Standard Time (2 PM Eastern) on April 28th. Registration is limited to 28 people per session. What is a Reading Club? People involved in prevention rarely have an opportunity to discuss the impact of emerging research about this work. PreventConnect Reading Clubs meetings provide a way for people to meet online and have such discussions. These small, one-hour meetings occur on an open phone line, with the web conference used as a common way to view the reading and other materials.
