Moving to end violence against women and girls

In this interview with PreventConnect's David Lee, Jackie Payne, Executive Director of Move to End Violence, discusses its 10-year initiative designed to strengthen our collective capacity to end violence against girls and women in the United States. Move to End Violence was launched by the NoVo Foundation to strategically deepen its investment in the U.S.-based movement to end violence against girls and women. Jackie described the opportunity to apply to join a small cohort of individuals an intensive chosen because of their vision for ending violence against girls and women, capacity for leadership, and passion for social change. Preventing sexual violence in Nebraska

In this podcast, Prevent Connect's David Lee interviews Rachel Olive, the Prevention Coordinator at the Nebraska Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Coalition. They discuss the upcoming Nebraska Prevention Summit that will be held on Nov. 19, 2010 in Lincoln, Neb. This Summit will bring together a diverse group of people committed to the prevention of sexual violence and domestic violence. The Summit will advance prevention efforts for the Rape Prevention & Education and DELTA PREP programs in Nebraska.
